Clifton “Pop” Herring, Michael Jordan’s old high school coach, is in trouble again — mere days after he appeared as the subject of a Sports Illustrated cover story laying out his demons, the least of which are Jordan continually referring to Herring as the coach who “cut” him (instead of the coach who kept him on junior varsity as a 5-foot-11 sophomore).
